01. STORY OF THE LIFE TREE
Existence was there in its simplest form.
As consciousness sought the meaning of things, the fractures of existence came to light.
Death and life coexisted on a broken floor.
The existence shattered, leaving its traces behind.
Pieces were scattered in all directions. Who knows, maybe they were always there.
Death was feeding the life tree, life was continuing to flourish over death. Life was nothing but a bridge among born and death. It was there; maybe it belonged there, maybe it was just a visitor. Surrounded by the traces that life has drawn and could draw, this place was telling the story of one person or of all the humanity.
02. THE QUESTION
What does it mean to live?
For some, the meaning of life is hidden in death.
For some, death is a scar.
Even, this scar is a miraculous thing for some.
Why is there a beginning and an end?
Why doesn’t life last forever?
Why is every living thing born, lives and dies?
What is it to live? Is it the paths we have traversed from the beginning to the end?
Do we always reach the end in different ways? Is the end the same for all of us? Is death an end?
Or is it just a threshold?
If so, which one is real; after death or before?
Or is it the life itself which is the threshold?
What do we leave behind?
Memories, feelings, thoughts, values… Traces.
Which one is real? The traces or the absence that was left behind ?
Does every absence leave the same place empty?
